Jonathan Achter joined the Ford Dorsey Master's in International Policy (MIP) in 2005 as part of the newly configured Stanford Global Studies Division (SGS). During 2006-07, he guided the transition from a one-year program to a comprehensive two-year model. Again, from late 2016-2018, he successfully guided the program's redesign and relocation to the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI), which is the first-ever transition of an academic program into a research division at Stanford University. From July 2010-11, he was one of three interim co-directors for SGS with responsibility for student services, admissions, and facilities. Previously, he worked in international education and study abroad for the University of California, Santa Barbara and Iowa State University. His international study, work, and program leadership destinations include Australia, Mexico, Spain, and England. He holds a M.Ed. from Iowa State University, focused on educational leadership and policy studies, specializing in student development. Additionally, he completed his doctoral coursework and orals (Ed.D.) at the University of Minnesota, focusing on international education leadership.

Meghan Moura joined FSI in 2018 as the Program Coordinator for the Ford Dorsey Master's in International Policy. In that role, she provided students, faculty, and staff with operational and programmatic support. As the Recruitment and Admissions Manager, she now oversees the MIP admissions cycle, and guides the program's strategies for recruitment, marketing, and communications. Meghan's background is in international development and the nonprofit sector, and she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Chad and Mozambique. She holds master's degrees in International Policy Studies and Public Policy from Stanford University, and a BA in Anthropology from Northwestern University.

Maeve is thrilled to join the Ford Dorsey Masters in International Policy program as the Career Services and Alumni Affairs Manager. Her previous position was SoFi's first Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, where she designed and implemented structures that enabled SoFi to be more inclusive and supportive of its diverse employees.  As Assistant Dean and Director of the Career Management Center at Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), she leveraged emerging technologies to improve and scale career development programs and resources to MBAs and alumni. Her corporate roles included working as CFO of Arteris Inc. where she was responsible for finance, accounting, control, and human resources functions. While CFAO of Stupski Foundation, she led mission support areas of finance, human resources, and information technology. As CFO and COO of Progress Investment Management Company, she revamped finance, human resources, operations, information technology, and administration functions. At McAfee, as VP Treasurer of McAfee, she directed worldwide cash, investments, debt, risk, insurance, and credit and collections management. In addition, Maeve has held varying positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance, relationship management, and treasury at SRI International, JP Morgan, Levi Strauss & Co., and Sun Microsystems.

Maeve's first love is international relations. She majored in International Economy of Industrial Societies at UC Berkeley. She lived in Germany as an exchange student and spent another year at the Universitat Heidelberg as a Rotary Foundation Fellow. She met her husband while working toward an MBA from Stanford GSB. Her proudest accomplishment is somehow managing to balance career, life, and becoming the mother of three human beings. Her best career and life advice is Oscar Wilde's -- "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken."

Laleh Rongere joined Ford Dorsey Master's in International Policy in 2020 as an International Student Advising and Career Programs consultant. In that role, she provides international students (and staff) important resources about US work authorization options, US job search strategies and how to successfully navigate the US-based job search for Internships and Full-Time position after graduation and lastly, understand the job search process from the perspective of a US hiring manager and recruiter.

Laleh has more than 15 years of experience as an international student advisor. She started advising at Mission College in Santa Clara, CA and then advised F-1 and J-1 students at Stanford University Bechtel International Center.

Laleh was an Associate Director of International Students Career Programs and Advising at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she helped MBA and MSx (Sloan) international students to strategize their job search and navigate their US career. She created the premier internship program for MSx International Students. Laleh was a recipient of several awards at Stanford University. She also worked at School of Medicine, Postdoc office and at the Office of Graduate Education to advance diversity and minority representation among Biosciences Ph.D. students. She also designed and developed an innovative information and process management system to automate and track all activities of the International Students Office at Stanford. This tool was copyrighted with Stanford Office of Technology and Licensing (OTL) in 2012 and was integrated into Stanford’s PeopleSoft platform.

Laleh enjoys every minute of this challenging work and always looks for better solutions to help international students. The joy in her work comes from interacting with people from different countries and cultures. She has participated in numerous NAFSA conferences as a district co-chair, a regional workshop leader, and a presenter. She has a Masters’ Degree in Computer Sciences and a postgraduate in database design and management from the University of Paris/France.
