IPSA's Objectives
IPSA is an entirely student-run group comprised of first and second-year MIP students. IPSA's three key objectives are:
Advocacy
IPSA represents the needs and opinions of the student body and nurture a two-way feedback channel between administrators and students. IPSA also strives to support the MIP administration in program improvement. It suggests and helps implements improvements to the MIP program based on student feedback, ranging from degree requirements to practicum design to social media strategy.
Professional Development
IPSA provides networking, skills-building and other career-related opportunities for MIP students to ensure they are able to find and attain positions that best suit their goals and interests
Community Building
IPSA fosters a community around current student and MIP alumni. We provide connectivity and networking opportunities for current students as well as enhance alumni participation and access.
