About the Russian International Affairs Council:
The Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) is a non-profit think tank which represents the Russian Community of Foreign Policy Experts. RIAC engages experts, statesmen and entrepreneurs in public discussions with an end to increase the efficiency of Russian Foreign Policy. Along with the research and analysis, the Russian Council is involved in educational activities to create a solid network of young global affairs and diplomacy experts.
Project:
The FSI Global Policy intern will work for a period of nine or ten weeks during summer 2018. The internship is aimed at developing the competencies of the intern in international relations, global economics and law. The objectives of the internship include: shaping the practical skills of specialists in international affairs; developing professional knowledge in international relations; supporting an expert network of beginner specialists in international affairs.
Eligibility and Skills Required:
The internship is open to continuing undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in international affairs. Additional requirements and characteristics:
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and summarize key ideas
- Ability to edit texts in Russian and English

Visa Requirements:
The selected intern is required to find out if a visa is required.
Stipend:
FSI is committed to providing its opportunities to students regardless of financial constraints. FSI's Global Policy interns are provided with a stipend to cover travel and living expenses during the summer. These stipends do not exceed $6,400 per student. Students must submit a budget with their estimated costs along with their application.
