Malou van Draanen Glismann
Editor-in-Chief
Malou is a Tech Policy Researcher at Stanford University, where she pursues her graduate studies focused on the intersection of AI governance and Chinese digital policy. Malou is a Co-Lead for the AI Governance Affinity Group at Stanford’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) and researched foundation model governance and tracked AI legislation for the 2025 AI Index. She also writes on Chinese AI and tech policy for DigiChina at Stanford's Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC). Malou previously researched cybersecurity policy at the Gordian Knot Center as a 2024 National Security Innovation Scholar. Malou served as a Delegate to the 2025 G7 Youth Summit in Canada and as a Foreign Policy Fellow at the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Kylie Jones

Kylie Jones is pursuing a master’s in international policy at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies as a 2024 Knight-Hennessy Scholar. Her research interests include nuclear weapons, the global nuclear order, and the implications of emerging technology for nuclear policy. An academic and artist, Kylie seeks to tell important nuclear policy stories through both words and pictures.
Before enrolling at Stanford, Kylie worked as a James C. Gaither Junior Fellow and Research Assistant at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. There, she founded the New Voices, New Ideas Conference on Diversity in Nuclear Policy, aimed at bridging the gap between nuclear policymaking circles and underrepresented communities. Her writing can be found in publications and platforms such as the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Washington Quarterly, 38 North, 9DashLine, and Physicians for Social Responsibility.
Ran Guo
Editor
Ran Guo joined the editorial team in the spring of 2025. He is pursuing a Master’s in International Policy focusing on cyber security and policy. Grew up in China, Ran graduated from Tufts University with majors in Political Science and International Relations, and has research and work experiences in Asia Society Policy Institute, the UN, the Wilson Center, Harvard’s Belfer Center, etc. He is broadly interested in data governance, surveillance & society, and intellectual history. Oluwafunmibi Asunmonu

Oluwafunmibi Asunmonu joined the editorial team in the Spring of 2025. She is currently pursuing a Dual degree; an MA in International Policy, specializing in Energy, Natural Resources, and the Environment, and an MS in Environment and Resource Management (E-IPER). She previously worked as the Business Development Lead at Pula, a social enterprise, where she engaged in policy advocacy and powered the resilience and profitability of 16 million smallholder farmers across Africa.
