Ian Reynolds

Ian Reynolds is the AI Policy Manager at Hugging Face. Prior to this role, he was a postdoctoral fellow with the Futures Lab in the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. From 2022 to 2023, he was a predoctoral fellow at Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation and the Institute for Human-Centered AI. Ian holds a PhD in International Relations from American University’s School of International Service. His work focuses on digital security, AI sovereignty, and AI and global conflict and has appeared in scholarly and popular publications.
