Presented by the Japan Program, the Japan Colloquium Series brings scholars, analysts, experts, observers, and participants in Japan’s transformation to give talks at the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center.
The Japan Program invites speakers whose work is relevant to understanding Japan, its place in the world, and challenges and opportunities facing the country. In addition, the Japan Program collaborates with other organizations within Stanford, and from the broader San Francisco Bay Area to jointly sponsor colloquia that benefit Stanford students, scholars, and the greater Stanford community.
