Since 2005, the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies has convened an annual international conference to address major challenges, risks, and opportunities for change in the international system. The institute invites current and former policymakers, academic experts, diplomats, public intellectuals, and leaders to join with Stanford faculty, researchers, and students for an invigorating day of discussion and debate about global transformations and their implications for peace and security, sound governance, and human well-being.
