Biography

Yuewen Yang is a Predoctoral Researcher at Stanford's Institute for Research in the Social Sciences (IRiSS), working in the Social Media Lab at the Tech Impact and Policy Center. She recently earned her Master's degree in Connective Media from Cornell Tech and holds a BA in Math and Computer Science from NYU. As an AI interaction designer and researcher, Yuewen is broadly interested in how AI systems' participation shapes human narratives, across both interpersonal communication and intrapersonal reflection, and how these interactions influence our sense of self, emotions ways of thinking, and human relationships.
