Paulina Montgomery
Biography
Paulina Montgomery joins the Ford Dorsey Master’s in International Policy at Stanford after eight years of active duty service in the U.S. Army, where she most recently led strategic initiatives for the 1st Space Brigade. An expert in electromagnetic warfare and space operations, she advised senior military leaders, coordinated joint U.S.–U.K. interoperability efforts with UK Space Command, and facilitated research partnerships with organizations such as RAND Corporation. Paulina pioneered new cutting-edge space control capabilities for US Army Special Operations Command, earning recognition from the Secretary of Defense, and executed multimillion-dollar, classified operational logistics in the Indo-Pacific. She holds a BA in History from the University of California, Davis, where she focused on irregular warfare and modern war theory. At Stanford, Paulina intends to explore the nexus of space policy, national security, and emerging technologies. She is passionate about bridging the gap between policy makers and practitioners within the space domain.
