Khalifa Alqaz

Khalifa is pursuing a master’s in international policy at Stanford, specializing in Cyber Policy and Security. Before joining Stanford, Khalifa was the Head of Science & Technology Diplomacy in the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he helped develop and execute a technology access framework guided by transparency and confidence building measures. At Stanford, he is focused on issues relating to non-proliferation, export controls, national innovation systems, and great power competition as it relates to developing economies in the Global South. Khalifa has also previously worked as a Management Consultant at Oliver Wyman, and as a Strategy Analyst at the UAE’s Vice President’s Office for Political Affairs. He graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
