Kana most recently has worked at San Mateo Nippon Gakuyen and previously at the University of California, Davis, in various capacities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and International Relations from UC Davis with a minor in East Asian Studies. Kana's hobbies include listening to Japanese music of all genres, watching J-dramas, and reading 1900s-modern Japanese novels.
