Francesca Verville

Francesca (she/her) comes to the Ford Dorsey Master’s in International Policy as a 2022 Knight-Hennessy Scholar and a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. She graduated as a Distinguished Graduate from the United States Air Force Academy with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in Russian in 2022. Upon completion of graduate school, Francesca will head to Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) to train in the world's only multinational pilot training program chartered to produce combat pilots for NATO. Francesca's academic and professional interests include strategic arms control, NATO defense policy, and the Russian/Eastern European security environments more broadly. In her spare time, Francesca enjoys rewatching her favorite Saturday Night Live skits and Architectural Digest home tours, eating shocking amounts of cheap ramen, and drinking as much coffee as is humanly possible.
