Biography
Ashraf Sabkha, is a dual-degree candidate pursuing a Master's in International Policy and an MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar.
Ashraf's career spans the intersection of technology, energy, and finance, with his most recent experience spanning across investment banking, venture capital, and public market investing. This cross-sector perspective informs his interest in how capital formation and technological innovation can drive systemic change in critical industries. He is particularly focused on opportunities at the convergence of technology, finance, and sustainability, where innovation capital meets infrastructure transformation.
Previously, Ashraf developed global strategies at an energy conglomerate, building on work that began at COP 22 with the World Bank Group. His entrepreneurial orientation was shaped early through leading teams in startup and product design competitions with NASA, PepsiCo, and the Clinton Global Initiative, experiences that crystallized his commitment to leveraging technology for community building and structural transformation.
Ashraf holds a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Oxford, where he studied as an Oxford-St Antony's Scholar, and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's in accounting and double minors in economics and international affairs as a US Department of State Tomorrow's Leaders Scholar.
