Boss Pornprasert

Boss Tossaphum Pornprasert is an M.A. candidate in International Policy at Stanford University, specializing in International Security. Originally from Thailand, he is a recipient of a full scholarship from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is committed to serving as a Thai diplomat upon completing his degree. He recently graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in East Asian Studies and a minor in Human Rights. His research interests include ASEAN security cooperation, multilateral reforms, and the intersections of religion, nationalism, and human rights. Prior to Stanford, Boss interned at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations as a Peace and Security Intern and at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo as a Political and Economic Intern. Outside of academia, he enjoys cooking Thai food and plays a traditional Japanese flute.
