Biography

Nik joins Stanford's Master's in International Policy (MIP) program after graduating from Harvard in May 2024. At Harvard, he earned a Bachelor's in Psychology, served as the first multi-year, peer-elected captain of the soccer team in over a decade, was one of three students selected to sit on the Department of Psychology's Committee on Undergraduate Instruction, and received the John P. Reardon '60 Men's Award as the university's top graduating scholar-athlete.

At Stanford, Nik competed for the soccer team during the 2024–25 season while balancing his graduate studies. Within the MIP program, he specializes in Cyber Policy and Security and spent the Autumn 2025 Quarter abroad at the Diplomatische Akademie Wien (Vienna School of International Studies), where he completed five courses and participated in the 2025 UN Shadow Program alongside a select group of Europe-based students.

His most recent professional experience was with Bloom Sports Partners, where he conducted extensive research on emerging ventures in the global sports industry and produced several deliverables for company leadership and clients.

A disciplined and resilient leader with dual Canadian-Croatian citizenship and a global perspective shaped by living in five countries across two continents, Nik's passions include business development, international affairs, sports governance, problem-solving, and psychology.
