Novelist McEwan talks about religion, apocalyptic thought
In his January 17 Payne Lecture, "End of the World Blues," novelist Ian McEwan talks about religion, apocalyptic thought, and uncertainty in foreign affairs. An audio transcript of his Payne lecture will be available later this spring. McEwan's newest novel, On Chesil Beach, was previewed in the New Yorker and will be published in April 2007.
