U.S. China Relations and the World

Description
Frictions between the United States and China are increasing, but decoupling is not inevitable. Both countries currently face widespread domestic challenges, and the foreign policies of each nation will likely be crafted to facilitate the achievement of domestic objectives. This reality will limit the rate and extent of disengagement and could ultimately contribute to a more positive relationship. Remarks given by Shorenstein APARC Fellow Thomas Fingar at the 2020 Taihe Civilizations Forum.
