SIIS Scholars Discuss Iraq's Future
"What Are We Doing in Iraq" was the topic of a panel discussion on January 26, 2004, in Encina Hall's Bechtel Conference Center. The event was organized by the Stanford Institute for International Studies (SIIS) and moderated by SIIS director, Coit D. Blacker. The panelists were: Stephen D. Krasner, deputy SIIS director and professor of political science; Michael McFaul, associate professor of political science, Hoover senior fellow, and SIIS senior fellow, by courtesy; Donald K. Emmerson, SIIS senior fellow; and John McMillan, economics professor and SIIS senior fellow, by courtesy.
The standing-room-only audience represented Stanford faculty and students as well as members of the surrounding Stanford community.
