Kimberly Renk joined FSI in January 2018 as the first Manager for Policy Outreach and Practicum Development. In this role, she works to foster connections between FSI’s work and policy impact and manages the Practicum Program for the Ford Dorsey Master’s in International Policy. Kimberly joins FSI from the Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) program at the Harvard Kennedy School, where she managed trainings on evidence-based policymaking for civil servants in South and South East Asia. Previously, she managed public policy initiatives in the Dominican Republic Ministry of Youth as a Fulbright Public Policy Fellow and the Liberian Ministry of Labor as a Carter Center/Transnational Law Institute Fellow. She was also a lawyer at the law firm WilmerHale in Washington, DC, where she worked on litigations and investigations involving the US federal government. Kimberly holds an MPA from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, a JD from New York University School of Law, and a BA in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
