Laura Cosovanu is the acting manager of the Human Rights Project.

Prior to joining PGJ, she was the program manager of the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law's Summer Fellows and Honors Programs (Stanford) and an Associate Attorney in the Private Wealth Services Section of Holland & Knight LLP (New York), concentrating on tax exempt organizations.

Ms. Cosovanu also worked and interned for the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, the Human Rights Watch and the American NGO Coalition for the International Criminal Court.

She received her first law degree in Romania and an M.A. in political science from Central European University in Hungary. She earned her J.D. and LL.M degrees from Columbia University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York.
