Seattle Times article references study on pill-splitting
CHP/PCOR In the News: Seattle Times on December 18, 2003Health insurers are increasingly encouraging their members to help reduce drug costs through pill-splitting. But some patients and health officials say the practice isn't as easy, or voluntary, as insurers claim. A Dec. 18 Seattle Times article cites research by CHP/PCOR fellow Randall S. Stafford, which found that pill-splitting can be safe and economic for certain drugs.
