Kiyoshi Kurokawa, MD - President of the Science Council of Japan, Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo


Kiyoshi Kurokawa received his MD degree in 1962 from the University of Tokyo. He currently serves as president of the Science Council of Japan and the Pacific Science Association. He is also a professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo; an adjunct professor at the Institute of Medical Sciences of Tokai University; and an adjunct professor at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology of the University of Tokyo. He is a member of the Committee for Science and Technology Policy of the Cabinet Office in Japan, and serves on several committees for the office of the prime minister of Japan.
