As part of the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, Martha Crenshaw moderated a discussion with former radicals who discussed lessons learned during their participation in, and emergence from, various extremist movements. They spoke about what led them to violence, why people are attracted to extremist groups, and programs for deradicalization.
